Commercial Building

In 2025, the Logan Church of the Nazarene acquired the property at 509 Dingess Street in Logan which was the old Thornhill Jeep service location, which was previously Rick’s Tire & Auto, before that it was Mark’s Tire and McGrew Tire. It was purchased by the church primarily for additional parking, but the existing building and some of the parking is being leased to the Salvation Army for a thrift store.

This is a great location near town and visible from Main & Stratton Streets. There is a showroom, approximately 41′ x 28′ which includes a service counter and cashier window. There’s also a long counter top with cabinets and a sink in the showroom, as well as a single-toilet restroom. This showroom area is air conditioned.

Behind the showroom and extending behind the service bays is a storage room, with some existing shelving, approximately 80′ x 15′. Attached to the storage room is a small office and there are doors to the service desk, cashier’s room and a private 2-toilet restroom.

There are four bays with overhead doors in the main service area. This 4-bay service area is approximately 60′ x 30′ with an additional space behind the last bay. The bays will be cleared of equipment by the owner before occupancy.

There is an additional large bay that could be included in the rental, or rented separately. It is approximately 32′ x 43′. The equipment in this space will also be removed before occupancy.

Only the showroom area is air conditioned but the other areas do have gas shop furnaces and there are some ceiling exhaust fans. There is a possibility of adding air conditioning to the un-conditioned areas.
