Nazarene Benevolence Committee
We want to be prepared to help people who attend our church with unexpected emergency needs as we are able, so have a Benevolence Committee which receives assistance requests and determines the best use of the benevolence fund. Call the church office (304-752-6778) for information on how to request help.
Salvation Army
We partner with the Salvation Army, providing them an office at 107 Bridge Street, and providing volunteers to receive assistance applications and process emergency utility and rent assistance and help with clothing vouchers. The number to call to make an appointment is 304-928-2231.
Logan County Prevention Coalition
Our pastor is on the LCPC board and coordinates with them and other agencies to assist people in our community who may need assistance in a variety of areas including rehab, transitional housing, furniture, clothing, food, etc.
Logan County Family Resource Network
Our church is involved in the LCFRN and collaborates with them and the other “partner” agencies in providing needed assistance to community members. For assistance referrals, you can reach the LCFRN at 304-688-2567. You can also find more information at the website: https://wvfrn.org/logan/.
