Participate by Attending.
When you first visit Logan Church of the Nazarene, you may want to just see what’s going on, but you won’t want to be an observer for long. Our church is not a place for spectators, it is a place for you to participate! Here are some ways you can learn, serve, and grow:
Worship Services
We have several opportunities to worship throughout the week:
Sunday Morning Worship. Our main worship service is Sunday mornings at 10:40 where you’ll enjoy a variety of hymns, thoughtful sermons, and joyful participation with the rest of the congregation.
Sunday Evening Worship at 6:00 pm is less formal and includes hymns and choruses, sometimes testimonies and sharing of prayer concerns, and sermons to help you grow as a Christian.
Prayer Meeting. Wednesday evenings at 7:00 we gather for Prayer Meeting where more time is spent sharing and praying for the needs of the church, family members & friends, our community, state, country and world. There is also a sermon to encourage spiritual growth.
Sunday School
We’re still recovering from the limitations of the COVID Pandemic, but we have been able to restart two Sunday School classes, one for “young adults” and another for “older adults.” You pick the class you would like to attend, nobody will try to guess your age!
Nazarene Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry revolves around our Bible Study on Mondays at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We spend time studying a portion of Scripture, sharing our prayer concerns, spending time in prayer, and enjoying refreshments and a time of fellowship. Building from this Bible Study we will be do outreach and service projects to help those who need assistance in our church and community and to share the good news of the Gospel with those who need to hear it. We will also be planning social activities for the men to get together and be positive influences as we have fun together.
Nazarene Women’s Ministry
The women’s ministry is gearing back up and will include times together for Bible Study, social activities and outreach to other women. Watch the “Announcements” tab for information on what’s coming up or call the church office for the latest information.
Church Fellowship
Usually the 3rd or 4th Sunday evening of the month, instead of gathering in the Sanctuary, we meet in the Fellowship hall for a seasonal message followed by a time of food, fun and fellowship. When there are holidays around, we focus on them, at other times we focus on having a great time together just because we’re part of the Family of God!
For more information on what’s going on, check the “Announcements” tab on this website or call the church office at 304-752-6778 and you will be directed to the pastor or volunteer leader involved in that ministry.
